Sandra Zanetti makes live art from the residue of survival, conflict, and intimacy, transforming what the body carries into ritual through performance, sound, text, and visual language. Their work stages the body as both site and evidence: marked by systems of power, desire, censorship, and endurance, where lived experience is reworked rather than resolved.

Drawing from underground theatre, devotional structures, and dream logic, Zanetti constructs unstable performance environments where the personal and the mythic fold into one another. Her work is a return to the body as a field of negotiation. Between domination and submission, rupture and control, rationality and instinct, nothing is fixed, and nothing is innocent.

Her work has been shown internationally, including at Tate Modern, CICA Museum, and Æther Sofia. She holds an MFA with Distinction from Central Saint Martins.
